Kevin Siedlecki was named the fourth head coach in Southern Connecticut State University women's lacrosse history on Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2019.

Siedlecki is no stranger to Southern Connecticut as he has served as the Owls assistant coach for the last three seasons. He has monitored the program since the departure of the programs coaching staff in the Fall semester.

In addition to his responsibilities with the Owls since 2016, Siedlecki was the head varsity girls lacrosse coach at Daniel Hand High School in Madison, Conn. since 2009. At Hand, Siedlecki compiled a career record of 157-51 and also earned CIAC Class M Coach of the Year honors in 2015 and 2018 as well as Southern Connecticut Conference (SCC) Coach of the Year honors in 2015 and New Haven Register Coach of the Year honors in 2011.

Siedlecki guided Hand to the last four SCC Tournament Championships in addition to titles in 2009 and 2010, while also capturing SCC Regular-Season Championships in 2010, 2011, 2015, 2016 and 2018. Hand also finished as CIAC Class M Runner-ups in 2011, 2015 and 2018 and Semifinalists in 2017 and 2018. Siedlecki also coached five All-Americans that went on to play collegiately.

Siedlecki graduated from Union College with bachelors degrees in music and English in 2008. He then completed his masters degree in English at Southern Connecticut in 2014 and his is currently working towards a certificate of advanced graduate studies in educational leadership at the University of New England.
