I started playing lacrosse when I was 9. I have been playing for 7 years. I was 10 when my club coach recommended that I play travel lacrosse. This ultimately played a significant role in my passion for the sport as well as further developed my athleticism. I recently have been placed on the Long Island Lacrosse Journals class of 2022 girls watch list. I was one of 4 chosen from my high school. Outside of lacrosse, I have been in all honors classes since 7th grade. Last year I was enrolled in AP world history and this year I am taking AP US history, AP Biology, and AP language and composition. I excel in and I am fascinated by American history and hope to pursue a career in law in the future. In middle school, I was recognized and earned the privilege of joining the National Junior Honor Society. Through that, I volunteered at my local church and for several school events. I helped tutor students in math. In addition, I have a passion and aptitude for music. I play flute, saxophone, ukulele, piano and guitar. I have participated in NYSSMA since 7th grade. This year I was selected to join the National Honors Society. Also, I am a member of Tri-M, which is a music honor society. Along with that, I was invited to play with the pit orchestra. This is my second year playing in pit. This year I also participated in marching band.
