I started playing lacrosse in the 4th grade in the Independence Township NJ youth league. Once I understood the game I really started to like it. From there I continued to play in the youth league until I tried out for Centercourt Club Lacrosse in the 7th grade and then I played for both. I have been playing with the Centercourt Club for 3 years, I am currently in my 4th year. My team is out of Gillette, NJ. I also play for my high school: Hackettstown High School in NJ. As a freshman, I led the team in Assists and was awarded with NJGILL Second Team All League (certificate is in my profile) at the end of the season. I play Middie and Attack-wherever my coach's feel I am most valuable to the team. I am aggressive and I have great speed and vision. I know how to distribute the ball for a score as well as score on my own.
I also play basketball and played JV as a Freshman where I started and played in every JV game as Point Guard. I sat Varsity and played in some Varsity games too. I feel that basketball influences my lacrosse game and that they are similar sports.
I believe in cross training and I believe I do and will continue to contribute successfully to both sports.
I am currently in my sophomore year, and I take all Honors classes along with an AP US History class.
I am involved in Key Club at the high school, where I volunteer locally, and I plan on applying for the NHS, NSHS, and NMS.
I work hard on my grades and sports 7 days a week.
Leading up to high school I also attended Isshinryu Karate classes and tournaments where I earned several awards for my Kata and Sparring matches.
I attended Catholic school from PreK-8th and I know the value of faith and volunteering, along with giving back.
