I started playing lacrosse when I was four and organized lax when I was in 2nd grade. I have always played against older players. In 2nd grade I played 3/4th graders, 4th grade vs. 6th graders, and in 6th grade I started playing versus high school seniors. I was the leading scorer on my club team, started varsity as a freshman and lead my team in caused turnovers and ground balls. I pride myself on playing defense as well as I play attack. I have a 4.1 GPA and take Honors classes in Geometry, History and English. I am very active in several service-based clubs/organizations, including: Film Club, Free the Children, and Latin Club. I was a member of the Freshman Battle of the Classes team, as well as the Varsity Field Hockey team on a team that won a state title. I train heavily in Strength and Conditioning in the off season and know that it is an integral part of being successful in college. Given my father played lacrosse in college and was a high school coach, and my two older sisters play(ed) lacrosse at the Division I and II level, I understand the commitment, talent, hard work and dedication playing our sport at the next level requires. I have been brought up to see the entire field and try to contribute wherever my team needs me. I am looking forward to the recruiting process, and hope that I am able to find the right fit for both my ability and my future team.
