Kristen Schuster joined Fairleigh Dickinson University's coaching staff as assistant coach in 2012

This past season Schuster served as the Interim Head Coach for the Devils with Coach Carr out due to maternity leave. Kristen excelled in her temporary role, leading FDU to a Freedom Conference Championship and a berth into the ECAC tournament.

Being a graduate of FDU in 2010, Schuster completed a stellar four-year playing career for the Devils. A native of Long Island, Schuster helped lead the Devils to three MAC Championship Game appearances, one NCAA Tournament appearance, and two ECAC Mid-Atlantic Tournament Championships. She earned All-Conference honors and was named Most Outstanding Player in the ECAC Championships. While an undergrad, she studied Fine Arts, Art History and Chemistry. Schuster is also completing her Masters in Sports Administration.

Prior to returning to her alma mater, Schuster held the role of assistant varsity coach at Villa Walsh Academy, the head coach for Storm Lacrosse Showcase Club Team, and a private trainer for countless high school players all across Morris County.
