He serves as the Statesmen's defensive coordinator.

Turri came to Hobart after serving as an assistant coach at Binghamton in 2017. His responsibilities included man-down coordinator, goalies coach, and assisting with the rest of the defense. The Bearcats posted an 11-5 overall record, finished second in the America East regular season standings and were the runners-up in the America East Tournament. Turri's defense was fourth in the nation in man-down defense (.789), fifth in clearing percentage (.903) and seventh in scoring defense (8.19). His charges included the America East Defensive Player of the Year, two first team All-America East selections, and two America East All-Rookie picks.

Turri began his coaching career as a volunteer assistant coach at Ohio State in 2016. He was the goalies coach, man-down coordinator and managed the substitution box for the Buckeyes. That year, OSU was second in the nation in clearing (.917) and 19th in scoring defense (9.07). The Buckeyes also improved its man-down success rate 34 points over the previous season (from .613 to .647).

An accomplished student-athlete, Turri won a pair of national championships and an ACC Championship as a goalie at Duke. He notched a career record of 18-2 with a 9.53 goals against average. Turri went 14-1 as the starter for the Blue Devils' 2013 National Championship run, making 10 saves in the title game against Syracuse. The following season Duke again won the national championship. He appeared in 12 games that season, including a relief appearance in the national semifinal win over Denver.

A three-time member of the ACC Academic Honor Roll, Turri graduated in 2015 with a bachelor's degree in sociology.

Turri played for Team USA, winning the gold medal at the 2012 U19 FIL World Championship in Turku, Finland.
