I have played lacrosse since 5th grade, when I was 10. I tore my ACL playing a lacrosse game on September 13, 2020 and I had surgery on October 7th. After the surgery, I had to sit out my freshman season, which included volleyball and lacrosse. While I was injured, I did 3 days of physical therapy a week, 2 hours each day and I would work out on all of the other days. I also went to every practice and game for my high school in the spring to show my dedication to the team. My first game back since the injury was at the Southern Alliance Tournament on June 5-6th. After that, I played at many tournaments, some of which were the USA Lacrosse Nationals and the Gait Cup! I have learned a lot about determination and perseverance throughout my recovery, and playing again for the whole summer was an absolute blast! Seeing my hard work pay off is so rewarding!

My first three summer club seasons I played with the Georgia Outlaws 2023 team, and we played in the 2019 U.S. Nationals. Last summer was my first season playing with SoZo, and it was so much fun. Though it was too bad we did not get to have a full summer experience due to Covid, it was still a great season nevertheless. I pride myself on my comfortability in both hands and my ability to dodge/cut and finish, as well as my hustle in the ride. I also take pride in my feeding ability from anywhere on the field and my lax IQ.

This year in school, I am taking AP English Language and Composition and AP Art History. I am interested in the medical field and I am taking the healthcare pathway offered at Alpharetta. I am very interested in sports medicine and physical therapy, and I want to become a physical therapist. Having gone to physical therapy multiple times a week since September has made we want to become a physical therapist even more!
