Beyond his role with Cleary University, Mason has held the position of Varsity Head Coach for Huron Valley United since the summer of 2018. Prior to taking over as the varsity head coach, Mason spent the prior two seasons as a Varsity Assistant and JV coach at Huron Valley United. Mason is currently a head coach for Cyclones Lacrosse and the Legacy Center, holding both of those positions since the fall of 2017. Prior to joining those organization, Mason was a coach for Triumph Lacrosse from 2014 – 2017 and has over 15 years of experience coaching youth soccer and girl’s basketball.

Mason possesses Level I, Level II and Level III US Lacrosse Certifications and is a member of the Positive Coaching Alliance.

Outside of coaching, Mason has 25 years of experience in the field of manufacturing with his current role being Material Manager at Sterling Axle Plant for the Ford Motor Company with responsibilities encompassing supply chain management, Inventory Data Analytics, Six Sigma Black Belt, Training, Quality and Process Design.

Mason holds a Bachelor of Liberal Art in Information Systems degree from Xavier University.
