Recruit Profile
Aggressive multi-sport athlete, fast, team player, and coachable

I played softball for more than half my life and in the eighth grade I picked up the sport of lacrosse. I tried out for the modified team and as cuts were being made I was told I was being pulled up to JV. I was a starting defense player for the whole season. I was in shock considering it was my first year ever playing lacrosse. That summer I taught myself how to use my left hand. In my freshman year I was pulled up to the Varsity level and have been a starting defensive player. I received the Rookie of the year award my freshman year. Playing up with the older girls has taught me many life lessons on and off the field I know I can always count on my teammates and we all "have each others backs". My goal for each game is to play for the person next to me and help others improve as much as I have throughout the years. My coach has made me face-guard the fastest or best girl on the team. Throughout the years and I have accomplished shutting majority of them down. This year I have accomplished containing myself and playing better defense and getting the All-League award. I also play varsity soccer in which I am a defender as well. I enjoy playing sports, being surrounded by family and friends, and soaking int he fresh air of the great outdoors. If I am not in season, at school, doing my schoolwork, or at work I am most likely found outside playing sports. I am a volunteer firefighter, ambulance corps member, and coach. I also volunteer for buddyball soccer. Watching the smiles on the young kids faces fills me with joy. I love helping people and knowing that I can make a difference in somebody's life and that is why I want to pursue in the nursing field.
