Hello! My name is Lauren Hall. I started playing lacrosse when I was eight. I always wanted to become a goalie but at that age they didn't allow any, so at the age of nine I started playing goalie. I immersed myself in becoming a better goalie. I would spend my time watching highlight videos, and wanted to become one of the goalies that would play in college. During my eighth grade lacrosse season, I had a average of 61.94% saves, and led my team into being undefeated. In my NorCal 2019 fall lacrosse travel season, I had a average save percentage of 62.84%. This year I started for my highschool's varsity lacrosse team and played 1 and half out of two games, and the rest were cancelled because of covid. We won both games and my save percentage was 73.08%. I am constantly trying to improve my game and become a better goalie, and meet up with my friends to practice when there is no team practices. I am a strong leader, and have been known as a very outgoing, optimistic, mature and funny person.

For most of my life before starting lacrosse, I was a avid swimmer during the fall and summer. I did swim team for almost nine years before I started doing lacrosse full-time. My goal is to commit to play lacrosse in college, and thrive academically aswell. Becoming a better athlete and student has been a priority for as long as I can remember. In the past few years, I have volunteered for a local non-profit animal shelter, I have always had a love for animals and my dream job used to be to become a veterinarian. In eighth grade I was given the opportunity to coach younger goalies and help them learn to become more comfortable in the goal. This past freshman year, I was unfortunately not able to work with my local boys and girls club because of covid. I am looking forward to volunteer for more services in my future highschool years! In school, I have a passion for science and math, and look to study finance in college and hopefully play D1 lacrosse.
