Embry-Riddle Women's Lacrosse Head Coach Marissa Giannerini announced the hiring of Leah Peppelman as the Eagles' assistant coach in June 2018.

Peppelman camed to Embry-Riddle from Reading, Pennsylvania where she was the Assistant Women's Lacrosse Coach at NCAA III Albright College for two seasons. In each of her two seasons at Albright, the Lions finished as a top-three team in the Middle Atlantic Conference Commonwealth division and advanced to the MAC Commonwealth semifinals twice. She also helped coach seven All-Conference honorees, as well as the 2017 MAC Rookie of the Year.

Peppelman was also involved in club lacrosse, serving as the Head Girls Coach of the PA Express Club for three seasons and as an assistant coach for Lanco Elite Lacrosse Club from 2014-15.

Prior to going to Albright, Peppelman enjoyed a successful career as a defender at NCAA Division II powerhouse Lock Haven from 2012-16. The Bald Eagles compiled a 59-18 overall record during her four seasons of competition. Lock Haven won back-to-back Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference championships in 2014 and 2015 and finished as the NCAA II national runner-up in both years. At the conclusion of her senior year, she was selected to participate in the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association Senior All-Star game.

Peppelman also excelled in the classroom and was named to the Lock Haven Dean's List and Student-Athlete Honor Roll, as well as the IWLCA Academic Honor Roll throughout her collegiate career. She holds two degrees from Lock Haven as she earned her bachelors degree in Sport Administration in 2015 and completed her masters in Sport and Exercise Psychology in 2016.
