I have had the pleasure of coaching Leah since 2016. She is one of the most athletic midfielders that I have coached. She is a hardworking, aggressive player that has a world of potential. Her quick footwork and ambidextrous stick skills give her a strong offensive advantage over defenders. She sees the field and reads her opponent well to give her the defensive advantage. Her high lax IQ makes her a good leader on the field and her personality and maturity makes her a good leader off the field. Her work ethic is shown with her athletic success on the field and in her academic success in the classroom. She will be an asset to any team at the next level.

Leah is one of the most determined and highly talented lacrosse players, who also happens to be my daughter. Leah has always had the gift of endurance and optimism, making her a natural leader. She is first in her class academically, has started her own business, founded the cross country team at her school, teaches and officiates younger lacrosse players, and works daily to perfect her lacrosse skills. Due to her lacrosse IQ, she was trained as a USL official at the age of 13. Leah welcomes constructive criticism, working diligently to improve areas when needed. When she's not participating in a lacrosse clinic or attending a practice, she is doing drills in the backyard. Leah has been honored with being named “Best Player” and named to CCAC's All-Conference Team as the only freshman. Her endurance in the mid-field, her defensive positioning, her ability to use both hands equally, and her knack for scoring multiple goals per game has made her feared by her opponents. As a teammate, she encourages and loves setting up plays and assists. Leah is a great player because of her passion for and knowledge of lacrosse, physical strength, genuine optimism, and good heart.

I have had the pleasure of knowing Leah since a youth player in our county and I have gotten to coach her through various clinics and private lessons as well. Leah is a true competitor in every sense of that word. Leah competes in every drill with her most effort, aiming to make herself a better player and a threat in the game. During games you will see Leah's speed and her incredible hands/stickwork. Leah has the ability to move off ball and to finish shots. Leah also works extremely hard to shut down attackers with incredible defensive positioning. Leah asks questions, Leah asks how to get better, how make adjustments because she doesn't settle for mediocre. I am also Leah's boss as she is one of my youth officials that I assign to ref our youth games. Leah is professional and manages game/player safety while officiating games for me. Leah, as a person, is a polite, respectful, and outgoing young lady. She is a positive person and will be an encouraging, spirited teammate to any team she is on.
