Lee Williams was hired as an assistant coach for the Johnson & Wales University men’s lacrosse team in September 2019.

A native of Geneva, NY, Williams began his collegiate career at Herkimer County Community College where he was named a first-team All-American with the Generals. Lee then transferred to Division I Towson University and played for coach Carl Runk. Williams played midfield for the Tigers for two seasons, helping Towson reach the NCAA Division I national quarterfinals as a senior in 1996.

Williams adds 13 years of coaching experience to coach Kurt Ohlen’s program. Most recently, he served as an assistant coach at Windsor High School in Windsor, CO where he worked with the Wizards’ defense.

Previously he was an assistant for three years at Jefferson Academy in Broomfield, CO where he was the Jaguars’ offensive coordinator from 2016-18. Prior to his time at JA, Williams was the head lacrosse coach at Chandler High School in Chandler, AZ.
