I have been playing lacrosse since 3rd grade, and I am extremely dedicated to becoming the best player I can be. I was a varsity letter winner my freshman year on a team with 3 D1 commits, 1 D2 commit and 1 D3 commit. I have played club since 6th grade, and playing at such a high level has made me even more determined to be a step above the competition. I always put in the extra work to improve my abilities, from personalized training classes to simply working on my stick skills. I am very comfortable being aggressive on defense and making smart checks that result in turnovers in our favor. My academics are equally as important to me, and I've worked hard enough to be taking all honors courses both freshman and sophomore year, and I am a member of the Spanish national honors society. In addition to lacrosse, I play field hockey in the fall of my sophomore year to keep my fitness up year round. Even though field hockey isn't my first sport, I work just as hard as I would during lacrosse season to be the best I can be, and despite this being my first season of field hockey, I was able to secure a spot as a varsity starter.
