Lillach Atiya
Recruit Profile
Reliable, motivated, multi-sport athlete with great leadership skills who is driven, hard working and has a passion for lacrosse.
At a young age I remember watching the girls high school team completely mesmerized by the sport from my school bus window. I wished that I would someday become a player. I started playing lacrosse in fourth grade. At the first practice, the coach asked who would be interested in playing the goalie position. As the loud and ambitious person I am, I raised my hand as high as I could. Although, I was told that I was too young. Nevertheless, I played that season with the best of my abilities, and became a goalie the next year and have been ever since.
My best quality as a goalie are my communication skills and ability to read the field ,locate the ball, and warn the defenders. Without communication the game's potential stunted which is why I believe that communication is key.
In addition to lacrosse, I am involved in multiple organizations. In February of 2020 I attended a help mission trip to Puerto Rico, where I built houses and helped on a local farm. At school, I am the head of the zoology club and created the public speaking club. I am also the president of social media outreach and communication for the Frisch robotics team. In addition, I am the boys wrestling team manger and play on the ice hockey team.
