Lily Bishop
Recruit Profile
Coachable team player and aggressive multi-sport athlete. Highest goal/assists on my school varsity team. In midfield my defense, speed and transition creates possession and goal opportunities.
My name is Lily Bishop (2023). I play varsity lacrosse at Seattle Academy of Arts and Sciences and for my local club team Puget Sound Select Elite. My coaches say I am a very versatile player and that they can put me anywhere on the field.
My junior year season with SAAS was very successful and we made it to the state semi-finals for the first time! This year I was nominated to be a captain by my teammates and it was a great leadership opportunity. I led in goals and assists for my team finishing with 73 goals and 21 assists. I was named to both the 2022 All-Conference and All-State teams for Washington.
Outside of lacrosse, I am in my third year as a varsity starter on the soccer team, have a part-time job at Homegoods, coach 5-7-year-olds soccer, and participate in many clubs in school. As President of The One Love Club I teach my fellow classmates what healthy relationships look like and I participate in Cardinals For Good, a service club where I promote food drives and other events. I was chosen this year by faculty to be a student facilitator. I am a very well-rounded individual, am academically focused and take school very seriously. At the end of my junior year I have a non-weighted GPA 3.96 and I am taking all Honors Core classes next year as a senior Honors English 12, Honors History 12, Honors Physics, Honors Spanish 5, and Honors Accelerated Calculus.

Lily is a talented and hardworking athlete. As a sophomore on our team (and after not having played a freshman season due to COVID) she was our varsity team's goal and point leader with 5 points per game. She reads defenses well and is extremely skilled at cutting and finishing in front of the net. She is smart on the offensive end, finding ways to get open both in transition and in the settled attack. While her strength is on the inside with her cutting and finishing, she has started to develop her ability to create opportunities for herself off the dodge, too. She finds ways to get it done. I love having her as an attacker, but she's a very strong midfielder as well. She has stamina to run the field, make plays in the midfield, help with transition, and plays smart 1v1 and team defense. She's versatile and happy to play where we need her.
