I started playing lacrosse in 9th grade at my high school and couldn't get enough of the sport. I quickly joined a club lacrosse team, Laxuhr Lacrosse, and was determined to develop and advance my lacrosse skills. I had been previously playing soccer my entire life. I have been on both my high school Soccer and Lacrosse Varisty teams for the past two years. I've learned how to communicate loudly and effectively with my teammates, which is essential on defense, and how to cleverly clear the ball out on transitions. Not only in athletics am I very motivated, but I also work very hard in school. I am currently taking 2 AP courses (AP Physics 1 & AP Computer Science Principles) as well as Honors Pre Calculus. Being a student athlete has taught me time management skills that have allowed me to become successful in both school and athletics. I also spend many hours volunteering at nonprofit organizations around my community, such as the food bank & at a local respite center. I also go to Mexico during my spring break to build houses with my church for the less fortunate.
