Lindsey-Kate Smith marks her fourth season as assistant coach with the Rowan womens lacrosse program in 2020.

She joined the Profs after serving as an assistant coach at the Florida Institute of Technology for two seasons, 2014 to 2016. The Panthers, a Division II program, went 17-16 during those years and qualified for the Sunshine State Conference tournament in both.

Smith began her coaching career serving on the staff at her alma mater, Saint Josephs University, first as a graduate assistant (2008-10) and then as assistant coach (2010-12), helping the Hawks reach the Atlantic 10 Championship game in 2009.

An Atlantic 10 All-Conference Second Team honoree as a senior, Smith, formerly McCool, remains the programs all-time leader with 151 career ground balls. A two-time co-captain and the teams Most Outstanding Performer in 2008, she led the Hawks in assists all four seasons and currently ranks third in career assists with 65.

Smith earned her bachelors degree in sociology from Saint Josephs in 2008 and a masters in applied behavior analysis in 2010. She resides in her hometown of Marlton, NJ, with her husband, Tim, and daughters Kyler-Rae and Sloane.
