My love of lacrosse began in second grade when we moved from St. Louis to Atlanta. I played goalie until 6th grade and then switched to defense. As a goalie, I learned how to communicate, work as a team and be a leader. I feel that those skills have made me a better defender/LSM and overall player. I'm able to use those same skills off the field in the 3DE Leadership Academy program, as well as in DECA, Student Government and FBLA. My freshman season I won the JV Defensive Player of the Year award and my Sophomore season I played on the Varsity team. My coaches have inspired me to always do my best and they push me to work harder than I ever thought possible. They've taught me to keep a stick in my hand, focus on fundamentals and take every opportunity I can to reach my goal of playing college lacrosse. My coach always says "Love the process and the process will love you," so I'm loving the process.
