Luke Dickinson
Recruit Profile
Aggressive, powerful, multi-sport athlete Great leader and team player 8 years of experience Great Lax IQ and vision on the playing field Great sticks skills and shooter
I started playing lacrosse when I was 7 years old. I played baseball for one year, but saw my older brother playing lacrosse and I instantly wanted to switch. Even though I'm from an area not known for lacrosse, I grew up around it and I was immediately hooked. You won't find another person who loves the game more than me. Some people hate practice, but I look forward to it everyday because my goal is to be the best player on the field. I was a top scorer and assister on my high school varsity team, and was a starter as a freshman. I come from Briarwood Christian School in Birmingham, AL, that hails a number of Division 1 lacrosse recruits and I'm hoping to be the next out of that bunch. I had around 40 goals this summer in 4 tournaments playing with my 2024 Yellowhammer lacrosse team and 2022/2023 Shred Thread team. I can dodge from up top, from the wing, and behind at X. My primary position is attack but I enjoy midfield as well.I am on the varsity football team. When I'm not on the field, I'm working out. I use my size and quickness to my advantage by dodging 1on1 whenever I get the chance. I am in 4 honors classes this year and I took two honors classes in my freshman year.
