Luke Field
Recruit Profile
Communicative on and off the field, multi-sport athlete, creative thinker and quick learner, problem solver, live for new opportunities and challenges, outgoing, determined in the weightroom and on the field.
I've been playing lacrosse and basketball since the age of 8. Over the years I have played every position, but when my team needed me to adjust to defense I worked my hardest to excel in defense these last few years. In basketball, I was on the local travel A team that played in 5 straight SJBBL championships, winning 3 of them. As in lacrosse, my specialty in basketball became hustle and defense. I work hard at leading and supporting my teammates. I finished my sophomore year in HS. I worked hard in the classroom with Honors Algebra 2, Honors Spanish, Honors American Literature, Honors Chemistry, US History, Computer Science, and Sacred Scripture, maintaining a 4.0 GPA. I am a member of our Model U.N. club that visits other local High Schools in the area. As part of this club we mimic different countries, discuss the problems they currently face and work on solutions to these issues. In my free time, I help my family raise dogs for The Seeing Eye. We currently have a yellow Lab named Unique going through the training process. She is the second lab we have raised. Our first dog Misty has completed her official training and was matched with a blind person in need. I've really enjoyed donating my time to such a good cause.
