Recruit Profile
All-American, 1st Team all state. 275+ varsity FO wins this season. Quick, scrappy FOGO. Looking for top lacrosse and academic opportunity. 4.0+ weighted GPA. 77% win rate.
I made a move from baseball to lacrosse at age nine and never looked back. I have played for my local rec and select team since. I started playing club at age 10. Played for Northern Pacific Lacrosse, qualified, and played for the World Series of Youth Lacrosse as the first team ever from Washington & Oregon. That experience opened my eyes to what lacrosse could be for me, and I have dedicated myself to getting faster, stronger, smarter, and more committed since then.
I currently start for Jesuit High School in Portland, Oregon, ranked 15th in the nation, where we delivered first State Championship title in school history, and I earned All-American honors, 1st team All-state, and 1st team All-Conference, with over 275 FO wins this year. I also play for West Coast Starz 2024 and Team Oregon 2024AA. West Coast Starz is currently top 20 in the 2024 club rankings (soon to be higher this summer), and Team Oregon is top 50. Oregon continued to pump out top lacrosse players, and I hope to continue that.
This summer, I am competing in top tournaments and showcases. I am looking to perfect my faceoff craft as well as working some of my other skills, such as defensive midfield and shooting.
Outside of lacrosse, I love the outdoors, spending time at the beach with my family and exploring rivers and lakes, kayaking, and building my skills at the local skate park by perfecting new tricks.
I am 4.0+ student in the classroom each year of high school, including a selection of honors classes.
Lacrosse has allowed me to see so much of the country over the past few years, and I am excited to continue to see where it will take me next. I am looking to continue my lacrosse and academic career at a top university in both categories.

William Gleason
LJ has proven to be an elite talent at the face off X. Not only winning the clamp, but consistently getting the ball to the offense. He’s highly skilled at his craft and at varying up his exits based on wing play. He came up with endless tough ground balls all season long. I highly recommend LJ.

Dave O'Neil
LJ is a well rounded Fogo who is strong on the clamp, exits and counters. What he lacks in size he more than makes up for with speed, athleticism and scrappiness on ground balls. He's reliable with the ball in the stick and is able to escape pressure well to retain possessions. He's also great on first time ground balls to avoid scrums.
