Recruit Profile
Coachable, hard working on and off the field, always improving, team player, student of the game, strong Lax IQ, forward thinking, strive for excellence, vocal on the field, creative, disciplined
I've played lacrosse for 7 years. Entering high school, I played soccer and lacrosse. After one starting season on the soccer team, I quickly realized my heart was with the game of lacrosse. I engaged in full time, year round lacrosse with club level play and off season opportunities. I was the first middie out of the box as a Sophomore on the Page High School Varsity lacrosse team and pride myself on my finishing and passing abilities. Being a left handed player opens the door for intense dodging and finishing that catches some opponents off guard. I played box lacrosse in the winter of my Sophomore year; as a team captain, I scored 13 goals and had 15 assists in three tournaments. My sophomore year for summer travel I was moved up to play with the 2021 team. I am taking AP World History and AP Human Geography and have been an A-honor roll student for all of high school. The summer following my Freshman year, I worked as an assistant coach for the local youth lacrosse league. Academically, I am seeking the International Baccalaureate Diploma. I participate in the Service Learning Club at Page High School, the Latin Club, Mu Alpha Theta/math club/Math Honor Society, Latin Honor Society , an outdoor club through the NC Wildlife Association, and the Arc Junior Committee (working with handicapped students learning to play sports). Although uncertain, after high school, I would like to explore a field in Biology, Chemistry, Engineering, Math, or Business. I have a creative mind and like to figure out how things work and how they can function more efficiently. Regarding leadership off the field, I earned my Eagle Scout at the beginning of my Freshman year. I served my BSA troop as a senior patrol leader and received 2 palms for extra merit badge achievements. I am Microsoft Word and Powerpoint certified as well as CPR certified.

Mac is a team first, high energy & highly coachable two way offensive player. He is a great finisher and feeder, naturally left handed player, high IQ, and sponge for the game. He has a great work ethic, constantly improving his weaknesses.
