Madelyn Poltrack
Recruit Profile
Coachable, disciplined, multi sport athlete. Hardworking team player with a positive attitude and an ability to find the goal, work around the crease, feed, and re-defend.
I started playing lacrosse at age 7. My first two years I played on a boy's team because my area did not have a girl's program. In addition to lacrosse, I also play field hockey and run winter track.
I would say that I am extremely coachable and hardworking both on and off the field. I am comfortable using both hands and can play high/low attack or mid. My strengths include the ability to find the net, working through tight spaces, and setting up the attack.
Currently I am taking a mix of honors and advanced classes. In addition to my classes and sports, I volunteer for an organization that supports veterans, Operation Stat. As part of that organization our main event is stuffing stockings to deliver to Veterans at local Veterans hospitals. It is an extremely humbling experience.
In 2018, 2019, and 2020, I was selected for the T3 Elite 2023 All Star Team. My team also won the NXT All American Shootout and were finalists in several other tournaments.
My freshman year of highschool at North Hunterdon, I received my varsity letter. Unfortunately, the season was cancelled due to Covid-19.
My sophomore year I scored 30 goals with 17 assists, 18 ground balls, and 11 forced turnovers. I led the attack unit in goals and assists. I also made the all conference team.

Maddy is versatile in her offense as she is fit, an excellent feeder and a tenacious when she drives the goal . She is extremely coachable, demonstrates a hunger to learn, and improve every time she steps on the field. Maddy is what coaches want on their attack.
