Coachable, strong multi-positional versatile team player, aggressive, high level lacrosse IQ, hard working, committed, team player, varsity starter soccer as a freshman, varsity lacrosse starter as sophomore (freshman season lost)
I started playing lacrosse when I was 11 years old, after 4 years of being a USAG competitive gymnast. Gymnastics gave me a great foundation that has helped me excel athletically on both the lacrosse and soccer field. I was on the south jersey youth championship team all 3 years of middle school, 6th 7th and 8th. After one year of playing lacrosse I decided I wanted to play year round and joined a club travel team. I am a multi-positional player and will play anywhere the team needs. I was given the opportunity to be to part of the New Jersey team at the National Classic. I met so many great players and loved every second I got to play with them, the experience of meeting and working with new teammates and coaches was rewarding yet fun. I take pride in playing any position the team needs and I practice hard, on my own and with the team, to have the necessary skills for all positions. I was a starter for the varsity soccer team since freshman year earning first team CAL conference this year. I had high hopes of doing the same for lacrosse until freshman season was ended by COVID19. The summer after my freshman year I decided I wanted to increase my competition, I tried out for a new club where I am currently experiencing top notch coaching and playing among strong competitors. As I began my high school career I quickly learned to step up as an underclassman and be a leader. I was recognized as a conference midfielder all star as a sophomore.
My academics includes AP, honors and advanced classes. I also participate in the medical academy, HOSA. I have an A- or above average in all subjects and have made honor roll in all marking periods. Besides being members of the varsity soccer and lacrosse teams, I played basketball, I am a member of Key Club, Student Council, Red Cross and spend many hours volunteering throughout our community. I have coached youth soccer and lacrosse teams. I also had the opportunity last summer to work at a youth summer sports camp.
When I am not on the field, in the gym or studying, you can find me surfing in the summer or snowboarding in the winter. I am adventurous and prefer to stay active on and off the field.

Erika Hennessy
Maddyn is an overall team player who will play wherever needed. She has great size and uses it to her full ability along with her solid stickwork. She works great offball and is constantly moving, making herself and her teammates threats on offense. She's a catalyst in the defense with smart decision making, great anticipation and overall great Lax IQ. She's a phenomenal communicator and knows how to direct her teammates in transition and settled defense. She has strong 1v1 defensive footwork and is able to push the transition after a caused turnover or groundball. Maddyn is a competitor and never gives up on a play. She will always give a 100% effort and is smart with the ball. Maddyn is extremely coachable and will immediately make adjustments in games or practices when asked. She is a student of the game and constantly wants to make herself better. Most importantly, Maddyn is a true teammate and will do anything to better the people around her on and off the field. She is responsible, respectful and mature beyond her years. I cannot speak anymore highly of Maddyn as a player and a person!
