My name is Maddy Caliendo and I am currently a Junior (Class of 2024) honors student athlete (two-sport) attending Springside Chestnut Hill Academy ("SCH") in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where I am also a school ambassador. I have been playing lacrosse since I was in 1st grade, initially as part of my township program, Wissahickon Lacrosse Club, and then in 5th grade I began playing club lacrosse for the Headstrong Philly Girls Lacrosse Club. I played 5 years for Headstrong, however when my head coach and teammates left Headstrong this year to join my high school head coach and teammates at Reign Lacrosse Club, I too decided to join Reign. I love playing for my coaches and teammates.

I am a right handed attacker who is also comfortable using my left hand. I continually strive to get better by working hard on my shooting, faking, feeding, cutting and re-defend, since there is always room for improvement in my game. I take pride in focusing on my defensive ride and my re-defend, as I believe it to be just as important as scoring. I also take pride in my lacrosse IQ, including knowledge of game plans and all positions on the field. I am a leader both on and off the field. I was a varsity starter as a sophomore and freshman for SCH. I also have been a varsity starter as a freshman and sophomore on SCH's field hockey team.
