Hi, I am Madison Barber but my team calls me Maddie B. I am a multi-sport athlete and I started out in lacrosse as a defender, but quickly developed strong stick skills and was moved to an attacker/midfielder. I can use both hands fluently. I have an excellent Lacrosse IQ and can make quick decisions with great field vision and be able to anticipate my opponents next moves. My endurance, stamina, and athletic ability help me play the game from start to finish. I am a spot on passer, strong assister, great finisher and can rebound quickly. I am very coachable and a great team player. In high school, I was selected as a Varsity Lacrosse starter and helped my team win a 4A Regional East 1 Girls Lacrosse Maryland Championship (2021) and led them on to play in the 4A Girls Lacrosse Maryland State Championship (2021). I was recently selected as an UA All-American for the Washington, DC Girls Command Team(2021) and was also selected for the the USA Lacrosse Women's National High School Tournament on the MD Metro Team 3 (2021). Other sports that I play in high school are Varsity Field Hockey and Basketball. I just recently helped my Varsity Field Hockey Team win a MPSSAA 3A Field Hockey Maryland State Championship (2021). I am a leader and possess extreme determination and discipline to perform both on the field and in the classroom. I was recently chosen to be in the Athletic Leadership Council Club and am apart of One Love Club. Academically, I have a 4.25 GPA and currently take all honors classes and an AP Government class and on the honor roll.
