Madison Grove
Recruit Profile
Motivated, disciplined to push for best performance; coachable and learns fast; aggressive on the field; works well with others as a team player. Excellent stick skills; hard, fast shot.
I started playing lacrosse (rec and club) in 4th grade. I played up with girls a year older in both elementary and middle school. I have played attack and midfield but I am also good at the draw because of my height. I had a stress fracture in 7th grade and had to sit out a summer and fall season. My injury taught me that I had to work a lot harder to regain my skills. It has allowed me to demonstrate my resilience and drive to be a top lacrosse player. I play lacrosse year round and focus on fitness and strength training to stay active with yoga, cycling, and weight lifting.
I am in all advanced/honors classes across subjects. My main interests are science and math because I want to go into the medical field. I am in the Medical Explorers and the Red Cross Clubs. I volunteer for school and church activities. I babysit on a regular basis. With academics, lacrosse, extracurriculars, and work I have learned how to manage my time wisely and stay disciplined and responsible.
