Madison Todd
Recruit Profile
Coachable, determined, multi-sport athlete, team player, team leader, seeks constructive criticism, versatile, dedicated
I started playing lacrosse at 5 years old. I started travel lacrosse in 4th grade with LBC. I also played for Delaware Diamonds Recreational team K-8th grade. I am coachable and I am always willing to learn something new. I am quick on the draw and I am the main transition player for my team. I also do cross country and swim. I previously did indoor and outdoor track as well. I was a NJHS officer in 8th grade and Student of the Quarter three times freshman year. I was selected to play for two years on the DE team for the National Lacrosse Classic and two years to play for the Eastern Shore national team. I take pride in working hard and working as a team. I will sprint back to defense/offense no matter what happened in the last play and I will always give 110% no matter the day. I love running but lacrosse has 100% of my heart. I love the sport, the adrenaline, and the friendships that are built along the way.

It is my pleasure to recommend Madison Todd, who is an outstanding Midfielder on our Lady Blue Crab 2024 club team. Her lacrosse IQ of knowing were to be and playing with eyes up and cage first mentality help create opportunities on fast breaks. Playing midfield on our team we can see her successes on both the attacking and defensive sides of the field. Madison works hard to create plays and opportunities not only for herself but her teammates as well. Her first step and speed on the circle helps her win draw controls. Her hard drives and her IQ on the attacking end help us put balls in the cage. On defense, she can track and pick up ground balls and is aware of what the opposing team is doing. Coaching Madison during the fall I have seen her grow, work hard, lead, and overcome, to become such a valuable, standout player not only on our club team, but in life. I truly believe Madison’s willingness to learn and work hard will help her to achieve the next level of play.

Madison has relentless work ethic. She has extraordinary endurance and is one of the hardest workers on and off the field. Her dedication to practice and to fine tuning her stick work allows for creativity inside the 8 meter. The ball goes through her during 95% of her teams transitions to the offensive end.
