After playing a variety of sports, I decided to give lacrosse a try in 6th grade. As a 7th grader, I found my home in the crease. That same year I was chosen to play on the 8th grade All-Star Shore Conference Coaches team. Covid-19 forced the cancellation of my 8th grade recreation season. Fortunately, I started playing club with T3 Elite and was able to have a shortened season. Although I entered the lacrosse world later than most others playing at this level, my determination and athleticism have enabled me to develop quickly. I first started playing on the C team, moved to the B team and am currently the sole goalie on my team, which is ranked 25th by US Club Lacrosse. I strive to become the best player and teammate possible by frequent training. This winter, I will be playing box lacrosse to work on my speed and add to my confidence and mental toughness. On the field, my quick, long clears create a transition for attack. As a confident goalie, I will come out for interceptions, ground balls, and trails for my teammates. I'm a strong positive communicator who sees the whole field. As a Freshman, I started and played all quarters totaling 156 saves with a .57 save rate. I backstopped my team to an undefeated at home record and recorded the first shutout in 6 seasons, earning team MVP. As a multi-sport student athlete, I currently carry a 4.1 GPA while taking 5 honors classes and am ranked 21st in my class. This past summer, I volunteered at my hometown recreation program. Additionally, I assist with my township lacrosse program to train future goalies and help grow the sport. I'm fortunate to live at the Jersey Shore and take advantage of everything it has to offer, spending my free time on the bay boating and jet skiing with friends and family. I also have a year round job at the local ice cream parlor.
