Maguire DiLenge
Recruit Profile
excel at transition and creating fast-break opportunities due to team-leading speed; frequently used as short-stick defensive midfielder due to athleticism
I have been playing lacrosse since I was nine years old. When I was 11, I began playing at the competitive club level for Madlax, and have played for them ever since. I am now on the Madlax 2018 Orange team. I was the recipient of the summer 2014 C.A.S.E. award for my Madlax team, representing my character, attitude, success, and effort. I am very fast and can convert defense into offense through fast breaks and transition. I am often used a short-stick defensive middie because of my athleticism. I also play football at my high school, Gonzaga College High School in Washington, D.C. I was a starting receiver on my freshman football team, and now a starting varsity receiver as a sophomore. At school, I made first honors for freshman year, and finished the year with a 4.21/4.0 weighted GPA. Outside of school and sports, I am an altar server at St. John the Beloved Catholic Church in Mclean, Virginia. I also am a co-founder and past treasurer of the middle school chapter of the Great Falls Rotary INTERACT club, a community service organization. I also have been a volunteer at the McKenna Center, a homeless shelter on my high school's campus.
I am a huge sports fan of many sports besides lacrosse. I love going to hockey games, and my favorite team is the Washington Capitals. I also am a fan of the New York Jets in the NFL.
