Team player, coachable, aggressive, strong Lax IQ and a determined multi sport athlete.
My love for lacrosse started at age 5 and I currently play for Monster Elite Lacrosse (white team). The Varsity lacrosse season just ended and I started all 15 games as a sophomore. Recently my high school coach stated, Makayla is a consistent, smart attacker willing to do whatever is necessary to help out her teams offense. She demonstrates knowledge, veteran shooting skills, and is responsive to coaching. I am most proud of how I respond to coaches and work as a team player. I am also on the Alpine Varsity Ski Team placing in the top 20 in sectionals the last two years. In addition to working hard to manage challenging coursework, I also like to give back to the community. I volunteer as a coach for our youth program, help out a local veteran and go on church retreats.

Makayla responds exceptionally well to coaching, listening carefully and engaging with our staff in thoughtful discussion to build her already impressive lacrosse IQ. She is able to apply coaching corrections or adjustments immediately with confidence and tact. She is mentally tough and has shown a consistent ability to respond positively to adversity both on and off the field. As a first year Varsity player this past spring, she demonstrated sharp shooting and veteran decision-making skills and a team-first attitude. Makayla's diverse skill set and confidence continue to grow at a rapid rate.
