I have played lacrosse for 3 years now and ever since picking up the stick I have not been able to put it down. As a freshman I played on my high school varsity team and scored 22 points as a midfielder. I given honorable mention for the 5A front range my first season. As well as named "Most improved". I then went on to play club lacrosse for True Denver 2022. Along with lacrosse I received 4 other Letter awards my freshman year. Including academics, softball, swimming, diving and lacrosse. Then with sophomore season being canceled due to Covid I received only 4 letters excluding lacrosse. My junior year I received honorable mention as well as the titled "Midfield MVP". I was the leading scorer and fielder for my team. over the past three years at Horizon I have received 12 letters.
I pride myself in my defense, athleticism, aggressiveness, passing, intensity, strong rides, and ability to see the field. I strongly respect my coaches and look for any chance to receive wisdom and to better my lacrosse game.
Along with playing 4 sports I am apart DECA (business completion), Student Government as well as played the role of Treasurer in the year 2019-2020. I am involved in the SOAR Honors four year program. This course helped me strengthen my leadership as well is formed to support high achieving students to prepare for college success. On top of the involved of these classes/clubs I have served over 366 hours of community service in the 3 years of high school. Freshman year 115 hours, sophomore year 122 hours and junior year I had 129 hours. I have taken AP marketing as well as AP Calculus as well as my schools SOAR program for numerous rigorous courses. This upcoming year I will take College Algebra, College English and Ap Psychology. I have an accumulative GPA of 3.728. I plan to study Psychology in college.
In my free time I enjoy weight lifting as well as wall ball. Every morning I run to the gym near my house at 6am and train and play wall ball. This something that I feel has extremely strengthened my game and skills as an athlete.
