Trevino comes to Elmhurst after playing collegiate lacrosse for four years at Benedictine University. She was part of the Eagles' team that qualified for the NACC Tournament in 2021. She totaled 19 goals, 24 points and 92 ground balls in her four years with the Eagles. She was named the team's MVP, Defensive MVP and served as captain in her playing career.

Trevino earned her bachelor's degree in Business Management & Organizational Behavior.
