I am a driven and competitive athlete, with a recent renewed focus and passion for lacrosse. My introduction to lacrosse began in 6th and 7th grade travel when I played for my town’s ‘A’ team. I have always been a multi-sport athlete, including playing rugby with boys on an elite team as a kid in Hong Kong. I played premiere club soccer starting in 5th grade and through 7th grade I was the only girl in my grade who played in our town’s baseball program. While I have always loved lacrosse, I hadn’t had much time to focus on it and was injured during the spring of my 8th grade year so I was unable to play.

When I arrived as a freshman at Staples High School, I successfully tried out and ended the year earning letters in 3 varsity sports: soccer, basketball, and lacrosse. I am the only freshman in my grade to have earned this distinction out of a class of 500 and only 1 of 4 freshman to earn a varsity letter in lacrosse.

As a sophomore, I have decided to focus more of my efforts on lacrosse and am very excited to be part of the Gold Coast team. I am a fast learner, very coachable, and with increased focus on lacrosse, I am already starting to see results. I love the intensity of the game, I love to score, but I most enjoy making smart passes to my teammates.

At Staples, I am taking 4 honors courses plus an extra science course, normally intended for seniors, and a junior level math course as a sophomore. I also competed and was selected to participate in the CT state finals for National History Day. I pride myself on combining both strong athleticism with high academic success.

In my free time, other than playing tennis, waterskiing, snowboarding, and biking, I love to travel, play the guitar (self taught) and I am can make a mean burrito.
