In addition, I was selected to play for Team Delaware in the National Lacrosse Classic tournament and the NGLL in 2019. In 2021, I earned Philly Summer Kickoff All-Showcase team. I am consistently the first or second fastest runner on The Hill School varsity cross country team during my freshman and sophomore years. I am a boarding student in a high-academic school where I was awarded the all-school athlete "Ram of the Week" in Oct. 2020, Oct. 2021 and March 2022. I am the long distance runner for indoor track. In Feb 2022, I placed 3rd in the PIASSA league championship meet with a time of 6:00:95 for the mile.

It is my pleasure to recommend MaryKate Barnhart, who is an outstanding Midfielder on our Lady Blue Crab 2024 club team. Her lacrosse IQ of knowing were to be and playing eyes up gives us an edge on close games. Playing midfield on our team we can see her successes on both the attacking and defensive sides of the field. MaryKate being a left-handed player is essential for our team and she works hard to create opportunities not only for herself but her teammates as well. Her hard drives, purposefully placed shots, and her IQ on the attacking end help us put balls in the cage. On defense, she can track and pick up ground balls and is aware of what the opposing team is doing. Her dedication to the team and her willingness to always improve and move forward is exciting to see in a young player. Not only is she a well-rounded player but she is also a great teammate, and she has a team first attitude. Coaching MaryKate during the fall I have seen her grow, work hard, lead and overcome, to become such a valuable, standout player not only on our club team, but in life.
