Marybeth Smith
Recruit Profile
I am very coachable, unselfish, aggressive, extremely passionate, and a leader on and off the field.
I began playing lacrosse at age 8 as a multi-sport athlete up until high school. I started club at age 10 and have been a Varsity starter since my freshman year- playing both midfield and defense. I started 17/18 games and played in all 18. In that season, I picked up 24 ground balls, caused 9 turnovers, and had 4 draw controls. I am comfortable with using both hands, offensively and defensively, and find my maximum strength in being a low defender. I have taken 7 honors classes and 1 AP class in my high school career with an overall weighted GPA being 4.24 and 4.0 unweighted. I am also involved with Key Club, where I volunteer in my community 3+ hours each month. I virtually volunteered with the Susan Wild 2020 election campaign. I am also a part of the Kid to Kid Club and Young Democrats Club.
I recently entered the transfer portal in hopes to transfer this spring semester from La Salle University. I currently have a 4.0 GPA as of midterm grades and am looking to continue on to major in Marketing.
