Mason Hoehn C'16 enters his first season as an assistant with the men's lacrosse program at the University of the South.

A former four-year letterwinner with the men's lacrosse team at Sewanee, Hoehn played in 43 career games with the Tigers. He was a member of four Southern Athletic Association (SAA) Regular Season Championships and three SAA Tournament Championships. Additionally, he was a part of four NCAA Tournament appearances from 2013-16.

Hoehn joins the Sewanee athletic department from Centre College, where he served as an assistant coach with the men's lacrosse program for the 2020 season. Serving as the program's defensive coordinator, his teams averaged 6.6 goals per game. Along with his responsibilities on the field, he assisted in creating scouting reports with film and recruiting.

Prior to his time in Kentucky, Hoehn spent the 2017-2019 seasons with McDaniel College in Maryland. He worked with defenders and served as a goalkeepers coach during his first season.

Hoehn earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in History with a Business minor from Sewanee in 2016 and a Master of Science in Kinesiology from McDaniel College in 2019.
