Jeremy Rualo Sr
Matt is a consummate 2-Way 5 Phase Midfielder. He's got both hands, both sides of the field and both ends as well for developed skill sets. He can play Offense 6v6 as a dodger and glue guy and 6v6 on the Defensive End then play in transition on rides and clears and snag a loose GB off of the turf in an instant and same for start of play on the wing during Face Offs.
Brian Fitzgibbons
Matt is a dynamic, athletic and talented midfielder. He is a game changer between the boxes and is lethal in transition. He gets to the net with his athleticism and speed and draws early slides consistently. As a shooter, Matt separates himself from his peers with his creativity in finding the back of the net. Matt is able to play two ways and is a tough one on one defender.
Andrew Bolger
Matt is an instinctive player, he has an abilty to score in many different ways. He is great off the ground and willing to play stout defense as a 2 way mid. He started on our varsity as a freshman and was a member of our manup unit. He can score off ball or create his own opportunities with his quick first step and smooth transitions. He uses his body very well when dodging, creating contact with his defenders and getting his hands free for a shot that jumps out of his stick. He has his head up looking to get his teammates involved when the slide comes. Matt has tremendous potential and works hard both on the field and in the classroom. His upside is endless, I'm looking forward to his growth as a player. Matt is a fantastic young man and a pleasure to coach.
