Max Rhodes
Recruit Profile
Coachable, team player with strong LAX IQ and mental fortitude. Disciplined, determined high achiever on and off the field.
I started playing lacrosse at 9, starting at Attack and Faceoffs but volunteered to be Goalie for a few games, and by 6th grade, I decided to focus on being a dedicated Goalie. I have been on the highest level True Minnesota Team (2023AAA) for the past 5 years. In addition, I started playing High School Lacrosse in 8th grade (2019), and I was awarded the Defensive Player MVP of the Year. In 2021, I was again awarded the Defensive Player MVP of the Year and earned my Athletic Letter. (Due to COVID-19, there was no high school season in 2020). In 2022, I was named to the High School Lake Conference All Conference Team and to the All Section Team and earned another Varsity Letter.
Academically, I have challenged myself with advanced and AP courses and have maintained a stellar GPA. In 2022, I was awarded the Summa Cum Laude/Gold Medal honor in the National Latin Exam and the Bilingual Gold Seal. In addition to academics and lacrosse, I have been involved in community service - fostering dogs, coaching youth lacrosse and other volunteer opportunities. Due to personal interest and family background, I am taking Finnish language classes, as well as working on a motorcycle riding permit, training and licensing.

Max is a sound, confident, and extremely coachable goalie. He has good hands and a quick reaction time. I have known Max for 4+ years and he has a great culture player for any team. He never complains, always works hard, and leads by example. In the classroom, he is a 4.0 student and challenges himself with the highest level classes he is able to take. He is not only a consistent goalie that you can depend on but a respectful and hardworking student athlete.
