Maxine is a strong and solid mid and excels on the circle. She has worked so hard developing her draw technique and is great at both a self draw and righty push. She is excellent at getting the 50/50 balls off the draws. She seals her defenders off and wraps the ball into her stick really well. Every time she is on the circle I’m hoping it goes to her because I have confidence she will get the ball. She has great speed which is clear when she is transitioning the ball and pushing fast breaks. Her biggest strength on attack is cutting she has good hight and is an easy target to hit. Her shots are strong and hard and really well placed. On defense she has good positioning and holds her 1v1s well. She is ready to slide and help when necessary and fills in her D role well. She is just one of those players that really loves what she is doing, her drive and want to be the best that she can be is so fierce. Coachable and takes criticism well, allowing her to be constantly improving. An asset to any team in any division!!!

I have had the privilege of coaching Maxine Neumeister for 3 years. She is now a junior at Gwynedd Mercy Academy where she plays field hockey and lacrosse. Max has a pursuit to play at the next level and works hard every day by focusing on her fitness, attending clinics, and preparing for the season. She is one of the most committed players I have coached. Her desire to grow in the game is evident with her work ethic and her the questions she asks. Her senior year she will bring speed, her top side dodge specialty, off hand stick work and her teamwork to our program. Max's tenacity on the circle has provided us possession and her ground ball percentage is one of the top in our squads stats.
