McKenna Moore
Recruit Profile
Coachable, team player, multi-sport athlete - fast, determined, focused, and a leader on and off the field
I have played travel soccer for years, basketball and field hockey, but lacrosse is my passion. I am two-sport athlete at Bridgewater-Raritan High School; prior to this year playing both field hockey and lacrosse. This year, I am tackling a new challenge and running cross-country with the goal of a further boost to my speed and endurance on the lacrosse field. As a sophomore, I played on the Varsity team as an attack and midfielder. We won the county championship and made it to the state sectional finals. I am a natural lefty but I am comfortable dodging and finishing with both hands. Crease rolls and drives from the top elbow are one of my strengths on the offensive side of the game. I began playing club lacrosse as a defender so I understand the importance of sliding, doubles and footwork on both sides of the field. I am an Honors and AP class honor roll student. I am highly involved in my community. I volunteer regularly with Interfaith Hospitality Network; a program that cares for homeless families providing shelter, created Coupons For a Cause; aiding local food banks, and I participate daily in PE Partners in high school, working with special needs students in gym class. I am a very outgoing and optimistic person. I love to be involved in things that make a positive impact and bring a smile to others. Coaching young girls in Pee Wee lacrosse and recreation basketball has given me a way to give back and share the many joys sports has provided me!
