Meg Morrisroe
Recruit Profile
Tenacious, great communicator, team player with an excellent sense of awareness; diligent on and off the field.
I first started playing lacrosse on the sidelines, when I was 2 years old, while my mom coached my sisters PAL team. I registered for our town league when I was 5 years old and tried out for club lacrosse, Team Elevate, when I was 11. I received the Most Outstanding Offensive Player Award for my travel team in 2017, 2018 and 2019. I was the lead attack scorer, as an 8th grader, on the JV team at Huntington High School. I now also play on varsity soccer as well as varsity basketball at St. Dominic. In school, I enjoy taking advantage of the STEM Scholars Program and I plan to continue on this track, which entails enrolling in two science courses each year. I currently take STEM Engineering and Applied Math in addition to Chemistry Honors. I have an overall average of 99, and received the Freshman Student of the Month Award, in December 2019. As a General Officer on Student Council, I help to organize fundraisers as well as charity events on behalf of the student body. On the field, I am usually behind the cage, either feeding or dodging, but I also feel comfortable in any spot around the eight.
