Profile
Meghan McLaughlin enters her second season as an Assistant Coach for Simmons Lacrosse after arriving prior to the 2019 season to work with the Sharks goalies.

In just her first season with Simmons, she saw the team's goalie named Great Northeast Athletic Conference Goalie of the Week twice, while guiding the Sharks their highest ranking in goals against average since the 2014 season.

Prior to coming to Simmons, McLaughlin spent three years on the sideline as Wellesley College's goalie coach.

McLaughlin is a 2011 graduate of Saint Michaels College, where she was a two-sport athlete for the Division II program. A starting goalkeeper for both the Purple Knights lacrosse and field hockey teams, McLaughlin represented the college at the first annual Career in Sports Forum.

While at Saint Michaels, McLaughlin also worked in the athletic department as a Student Assistant Athletic Director, where she served as the liaison for Ice Hockey Program. She also coordinated media relations, including community outreach and archival of materials, while training student workers, and helping to organize other departmental events. As a senior, McLaughlin won the George ‘Doc’ Jacobs award for dedication to the athletic department.
