Recruit Profile
Fast attack, coachable, high lacrosse IQ multi-sport athlete. Driven, determined, well-disciplined on and off the field.
Started lacrosse at age 10. Love midfield, and can play any position. I like to dodge and finish with either hand. Consider myself a team player, enjoy the assists as much as scoring.
In middle school played point guard on the basketball team, and also ran for the cross country team. I played lacrosse throughout the year for WCS MS Gold team 2017-2019. We won multiple tournaments: Adrenaline Park City, Legends Meltdown, and Pacific Lacrosse Festival.
Played for CCHS JV Basketball. Our team went undefeated, and won 2 championship tournaments: Lady Matador Christmas Classic and Rancho Winter Shootout.
I was a freshman starter for CCHS Varsity Lacrosse, and now a sophomore starter.
Completed Honors Speech and Debate with a 95.5% in the class. Received the Msgr. John A Dickie Freshman Award - 1st Semester First Honors for 4.0 or above GPA. Just recently received Honor Roll Achievement and the Fr. John Paul Cadden Sophomore Award for 3 consecutive semesters of 4.0 or above GPA.
Fundraise yearly for our veterans through Shootout for Soldiers since 2016.
Volunteered 2017-2019 for I Love a Clean San Diego. I currently volunteer as a coach for RC Girls Lacrosse, and have coached the San Marcos Cavs.
Play for Coast Lacrosse 2023 Elite #57 2019-2022, and was on the UA All American 2020 West Command #1.

Taylor Scornavacco
It has been an honor to coach Meilani. She’s a fantastic kid with a passion for the game that is second to none. Her work ethic is far superior than most kids her age and her humility keeps her constantly improving in all aspects of her life. On the field, it’s her IQ and vision that really sets her apart. She sees the field very well and puts herself in the best positions possible to contribute to the success of the team. Mei’s high level decision making combined with her fluid stick work and natural athleticism would make her an asset for any collegiate program.
Nicholas Tintle
Meilani is a player that can be put anywhere on the field and have an impact. She is the true definition of a TEAM player. Mei can win her 1v1 match up and score or create opportunities for her teammates to score. She plays solid D, scoops up tough gb’s, a d can push transition. She has great lax IQ and her off ball movement is one of her biggest strengths. Excited to see what the future holds for Mei.
Kara Hogan
I had the pleasure of working with Mei during her time competing in Maryland with the ever competitive Skywalkers club program. Mei plays and trains with intensity and focus, while also backing it up with athleticism and fluid stickwork. As a coach, I’m very impressed with Mei’s coachability and consistency. She was fearless in our elite drills and led the other players by example. Mei would be an excellent addition to a competitive program and would not disappoint.
Holly Reilly
Mei brings speed to transition. Defensively, she is aggressive on ball and physical. Small, but mighty. Offensively, Mei uses her body deceptively with small hitches and explosiveness to gain a step on her defender. She has vision and can move the ball and dodge. Go Mei!
Paul Inga
Mei is extremely consistent and hard working during her workout sessions. She is naturally athletic and strong for her age. With consistent strength training in addition to her continued growth and maturation, she is going to be a highly sought after recruit ready to play at the next level.
Rebecca Kingsbury
"Mei" is one of those special athletes who has a true passion for the game which drives her to be constantly improving. She is fast, has a great stick and is a true student of the game. She is coachable, respectful, and a true asset to our team.
