I was recruited to play lacrosse during my freshman year while playing basketball. I’ve been playing basketball since 3rd grade which has taught me to be quick on my feet as well as aggressive. Because of my work ethic and athleticism, I was moved up to Varsity during my sophomore year after being captain of the JV team. I began club lacrosse on a regional team and last summer successfully made the transition to an elite travel team. As the jump in competition was high, I have continued working hard to improve my skills. I am now comfortable with either hand, enjoy setting up my teammates and pride myself on my defensive efforts. I train 2x a week on speed and endurance with a former Olympic athlete. I am enrolled in all honors/gifted classes and two AP classes (English Language and Spanish). I have over 125 hours of community service through the local animal shelter and a local homelessness charitable organization.
