I am aggressive, coachable player who eats and drinks lacrosse. I pride myself with my lax IQ and winning every battle out there on the field.
I have been playing lax since I was 8. I have been playing on the top level team for my club program since my freshman year being invited by my coaches to play in the top tournaments. I love playing defense and being part of a team that stops the opposing teams best players. I was voted top defensive player for my high school team as a sophomore and was a Sun Chronicle All Star. I have been an All Star for 3 years playing defense for my varsity ice hockey team and have been captain of the team for my junior and upcoming senior year. I also volunteer my time to help coach youth lacrosse players during winter clinics and teach skating to 6 and 7 year old boys and girls for the Tri County Saints program. I take honors level English and have been an honors level student almost every semester.

Kristin Igoe
Melissa is a solid defender who plays excellent 1 v 1 and team D. She is a leader communication-wise, and anticipates slides well. She is capable of transitioning the ball up the field, using her feet and both hands. Melissa is an excellent teammate and is always seeking feedback!
