Mia Ferraro
Recruit Profile
I am determined, gritty, coachable player with a strong lacrosse IQ, very aggressive, love the game, very positive, and a supportive teammate.
I grew up playing lacrosse, coming from a big lacrosse family. I fell in love with the sport, dreaming of someday playing in college. I started at attack for my high school, the William Penn Charter school. I played well and improved as a player physically and mentally. Here are some of my stats for the 2017-2018 season: 14 goals, 3 assists, 9 ground balls, and 1 draw control. This 2018-2019 season, I was a starting attacker with 43 goals, 5 assists, 14 ground balls, 1 draw control. I was chosen to join the 2018 and 2019 Wpll futures team for my age group (2021) in PA. I was also selected to represent Philadelphia in both the National Tournament (Tuscarora Division) and the Under Armour All American Uncommitted 2021 Showcase (where I received player of the game.) I helped my teams win the Queen of the Cage 5 X 5 tournament championship in Philadelphia (October 2018) and the Carolina 7 X 7 tournament championship in Chapel Hill, NC (February 2019). I also play JV soccer in the fall, and train in the weight room in the winter along with winter track. I am a determined student and athlete, always striving for the best grades and to be a better player everyday. At William Penn Charter I have had academic success, achieving honors first and second semester freshman year and high honors first semester and second semester.
