My goal as an athlete is to push myself to become the best player I can be. I believe that I am a hard working, team player that will always help others to succeed as well. As a team on and off the field we need to think of each other as a family because we need each other to get better and be the best version of ourselves. I have always been a believer that if you work for it hard enough you will achieve your goal. As a freshman last year I worked hard to become 1 of 3 freshman on the varsity roster. I feel that lacrosse is not just a one person sport and the connections you form between you and your teammates are unbreakable. I think of my school and travel teams as my second family because I trust them so much and appreciate them with my whole heart. The hard work and dedication you put into something will get you noticed and appreciated by the people who care the most about you. I take 3 honors classes as a sophomore and took one honors class as a freshman. This year I am taking Honors Biology, Honors Economics, and Honors Geometry. Last year I took Honors Spanish. I am involved in multiple clubs in my school such as Blue Gold Club, Educators Rising, and SYLO. I have always imagined having sports in my future because I am a multi sport athlete. Sometimes it is hard to decide which one I would rather play but i just want to be happy playing any sport in the future.

Emily Ewin
Mia is extremely coachable and can easily learn new concepts on the fly. I've worked with Mia for about a year and she has grown so much as a lacrosse player. When learning new plays or motions she asks great questions. Additionally she is a huge asset for team morale. She knows how to encourage her teammates and create energy on and off the field.
Mia Piscarik
Mia is a hard working student-athlete, a great teammate, and a wonderful person. Mia works hard in the classroom as reflected by her impressive 3.7 GPA. Mia is dedicated each day at practice to bettering herself as well as her teammates. She also works hard in the off season through playing travel lacrosse with the Lady Blue Crabs. Mia is a positive young women and although she has been a pleasure to coach as an athlete, it has been an even greater pleasure to get to know as a person. She would a great addition to any team/school as she pursues playing at the next level.
