I have been playing lacrosse since i was 12 years old. As a freshman at Newark Academy, I was the starting varsity faceoff man and also played midfield. During my freshman season I won 137 of 198 faceoffs (69%) and picked up 160 ground balls, which broke the school record and was the seventh highest in the state when my season ended. I also played football on Newark Academy's varsity team as a quarterback. On the lacrosse field, I take pride in going after loose balls hard and my man to man defense. In school, I participated in the Model United Nations Club and the Outdoors Club. I also took an intensive immersion area of study in the sociology of poverty; which is something that I am interested in. Outside of school I enjoy playing pickup football, basketball and lacrosse with my friends. My favorite sports team is the New York Giants. One professional athlete that I would like to meet is Andrew Luck.
